Wine Advocate 89 points – Bottled just a month before this tasting, the 2017 Vinsobres les Cornuds seems to have closed down a bit since last year. Cola and red fruits mingle on the nose and medium to full-bodied palate, picking up hints of dried spices and leather. It’s robust and a bit rustic, in a good, wholesome way..August/2019

Jeb Dunnuck 92 points – 92-94 – Based on 50% Syrah and 50% Grenache, the 2017 Vinsobres Les Cornuds sports a deep ruby color as well as a gorgeous nose of cassis, blackberries, ground pepper and violets. The Syrah is dominating at the moment, and it hits the palate with beautiful purity of fruit, ripe tannin, and a great finish. It’s one seriously good barrel sample..August/2018
