La Poderina Riserva Poggio Abate Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2011 Italian Red Tuscan Wine 750 mL

$79.99

94 Points from Wine Advocate March 2016

"Packaged with a thick wax capsule, the 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Poggio Abate opens to a dark color and smooth consistency. The bouquet is redolent of bright cherry, cassis, dried blackberry, spice and tobacco. Like many of the best wines from this vintage, the nose is initially slow to open. Once it does, it shows elegance and power in equal measure. Despite the thick glass bottle and dramatic packaging, this wine is much more feminine and elegant than you may expect. It is full of pretty surprises." Monica Larner
