This wine is made with 100% Tinta Fina (Tempranillo) grapes from vineyards located in Quintana del Pidio, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero appellation in the province of Burgos. The vines are 85 years old. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel and aged six months in French oak. Intense nose with lots of nuances and aromas of sweet berries, truffles, spice and licorice. Pronounced blackberry flavour with licorice and mineral notes and ripe round tannins.
