Alexander Valley Vineyards Sin Zin
For 26 years Sin Zin has provided great enjoyment to folks around the globe. Varietally distinct, Sin Zin captures the true essence of Alexander Valley Zinfandel. The fruit is sourced from a variety of vineyards with differing microclimates. This provides winemaker Kevin Hall with an array of unique parcels of fruit. Once vinified, these parcels are blended together and then allowed to mature in French and American oak for 10 months. Further complexity is achieved by the addition of small amounts of Sangiovese.

Bogle Zinfandel Old Vine 2008
"Head-trained, dry farmed old vines continue to be the source for Bogle’s Old Vine Zinfandel. These gnarly old vines produce concentrated fruit of unsurpassed quality and intensity. This supple and full-bodied vintage begins with brambleberries and raspberry jam. Summertime ripeness and richness integrate with hints of black pepper and a touch of dark chocolate. The finish of toasty oak, tobacco and spicy cloves creates a wine of both structure and sumptuousness." -The Winery

Bonterra Zinfandel Mendocino 2007
Made with organically grown grapes!

86 Points - Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine, May 2009
"A little riper and fuller than we would expect from Bonterra, this wine is fairly well-focused on Zinfandel's berryish fruit and comes with hints of briary spice and roasted vanilla beans in its likeable aromas. It turns to slight rusticity on the palate and could use a little more central fruitiness to truly knock our socks off, but it is nevertheless a fine and priceworthy choice for savory barbecue. GOOD VALUE"

Calistoga Cellars Zinfandel Napa Valley 2006
86 Points - Wine Enthusiast, November 2009
"Oaky, with smoky sandalwood, caramel and buttered toast flavors dominating the blackberries, mulberries, tobacco and peppery spices. The tannins are rich and acidity is fine." -S.H.

"This Zinfandel has a deep ruby-black color and a raspberry nose, and an elegant palate with lots of plump black cherry. Many wine lovers think of Zinfandel as a wine that is jammy and has high alcohol. Ours is quite different from that with medium body mouth feel and it drinks well right now. Try this wine with any kind of cuisine. Of course, nothing is better with a barbecue than a Zinfandel!" -The Winery

Cline Cellars Ancient Vines Zinfandel 2008
87 Points - Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine, May 2010
"Although every bit as big and as ripe as its cellarmates, this wine is both slightly fruitier and a little less rugged in construction. Its themes of sweet berries are tinged with a faint note of flowers, and it is so juicy as to intimate a bare hint of sweetness. It is not an especially complex wine, but it is very easy to taste, and we can see it working particularly well as a foil to sweetly sauced barbecued meats."

Cline Cellars California Old Vine Zinfandel
Winemaker's Comments:
As always the California Zinfandel is a challenging and rewarding wine to produce. Severe selection criteria and master blending show in the final product, which showcases a wide array of dark berry fruit including black cherry and raspberry. Additionally, spice notes and a lasting finish of vanilla from oak aging and firm, supple tannins add complexity to this wine. This wine is ready to drink now and will continue to develop complexity over the next three to four years.

Cosentino Cigarzin California
"A wine that knows no boundaries, Cigarzin, is a California appellation Zinfandel. Predominantly from “Old Vines” in the Lodi district, the expanded appellation gives the winemaker more freedom to create a balanced Zinfandel that is not only supple, but also intense in flavor for every vintage year. This truly expresses the Cosentino philosophy of letting the fruit guide the winemaking process. Cigarzin is the true artisans Zinfandel." -The Winery
