"A little riper and fuller than we would expect from Bonterra, this wine is fairly well-focused on Zinfandel's berryish fruit and comes with hints of briary spice and roasted vanilla beans in its likeable aromas. It turns to slight rusticity on the palate and could use a little more central fruitiness to truly knock our socks off, but it is nevertheless a fine and priceworthy choice for savory barbecue.
